This Ganesha idol was not there when Bhagavan was in His physical form. It was many years later brought and kept near Samadhi. That was much before the present temple was constructed. When temple was made it was shifted to Kailash. Normally When it is Swamideva, no other photos or statues are kept. He is all encompassing. This was in Kanhangad & Shaligram Swami. Statues made along the temple were more in line with traditional architecture & design.b
