This I have to say was a God-Given, much needed 4-day weekend. A lot of time to think, reflect and be thankful for the time I have spent here. Beyond all the bullshit that happened and the obstacles that I made it through, all the injuries I had healed from. I would say this was a good place for me to grow and to learn. I started from the bottom now Im here, came here a fuzzy now E-4 rocking out. Its a lot of emotions running through my head. Memories and emotions flooded my brain real shit. I am gonna miss all those I had the honor, privilege of knowing and serving with here on the ROK peninsula. To my Soldiers in the Dirt Bags platoon you guys gotta know I love you and you all have pushed and motivated me to keep one boot in front of the other and to keep moving even at times you may had not known it but there were times I had lost motivation and had no determination in the gas tank but I take a look at you all and it made me wanna dig a little deeper and push a little more, I re-upped because of my Soldiers made me want to re-up so I can further grow Soldiers, and lead Soldiers and be that leader to other Soldiers as I were to them. When working a Squad Leader position my Soldiers made my job so easy it made no sense what-so-ever. When I was in the field with them it was hard for me to break the news to them that I was being pulled back from the field and not get emotional. Nothing made me more proud then my Soldiers, no one gave me the determination than my Soldiers and the reason I know my Squad Leader is not gonna professionally lose her mind (too much.lol) is because of my Soldiers and for that I thank my Soldiers. It was an honor to serve with you, it was a privilege to lead you Soldiers.
