This Ilagan-Barrion heritage house was restored by one of the heirs, Mr. Manny Innumerable. Its now called the Galeria Taal. His camera gallery might be one of the most comprehensive camera collections of unique vintage cameras dating from the year 1800s-2000. Next to it is ex-mayor Ignacio ilagans ancestral house with the side details similar to the curve side walls of the Taal Basilica. It is now manage by his son Gino Ilagan. These are the kind of heritage houses you can find all over the Heritage town of Taal. Taal was the former capital of Batangas which was located on the shoreline of the lake, and is now the town of San Nicolas. Like the town of Lipa and Tanauan, they all moved inland because of the dangerous eruptions of the Taal volcano on the Taal Lake. The reason the volcano and the lake were named after Taal is because it was under the jurisdiction of Taal.
