PRESS RELEASE PRESS RELEASE PRESS RELEASE "The Corridor Counts" For Immediate Release 8/16/13 Contact- Sergio Argueta 516-532-4380 COALITION OF BLACK AND BROWN CITIZENS BACK ADAM HABER FOR NASSAU COUNTY EXECUTIVE HABER SAYS THAT “THE CORRIDOR COUNTS” AND TAKES THE CAMPAIGN FROM THE SUITES TO THE STREETS On August 17, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. a coalition of community leaders from the Nassau County Corridor (Lakeview, Hempstead, Roosevelt, Uniondale, Freeport and New Cassel) will stand with Adam Haber, candidate for the office of Nassau County Executive, and announce their support for him in the upcoming Democratic Primary to be held on September 10, 2013. The group, consisting of educators, law enforcement, clergy, youth advocates and community activists and others have determined that Adam Haber is the best candidate for Nassau County and will hold a community rally for Mr. Haber at the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Peace Park, on the corner of Nassau Road and Uniondale Avenue in Uniondale, at the cross roads of the Corridor. The press is invited to conduct interviews and see the community rally behind Mr. Haber who will address the rally and confirm to all that The Corridor Counts. Community Activist Sergio Argueta and Civil Rights Attorney Frederick K. Brewington are part of this coalition and have helped organize this rally.
