This LOOKs like a LONG post....Im sorry but it is! I just needed to share my heart with you. FRIENDS ARENT ALWAYS PEOPLE YOU SEE OR TALK TO OFTEN This has been a nerve-racking week in the South! These Middle of the night storms have had many of us on edge. Many have had storm damage. Many have lost their homes. Some have lost belongings and some have even lost their lives. Its during these times that so often you see the good in people that otherwise, very often goes unnoticed or maybe is not even displayed. And often during these tragic events God uses people as dispensers of His love and care. I just wanted to share a way that was done for me this week and maybe it will minister to you as well. The timing was special to me because it was not only Crazy Weather Week but it was one of those periods I go through from time to time where Im battling a LOT of doubts. Business doubts. Ministry doubts. Me doubts. Life doubts. What am I doing? Am I doing the right thing? Is it even making a difference for His kingdom? would I be better off a a paycheck kinda job? wouldnt that make life easier for my family...oh, what a downhill spiral! A spiritual battle! Well heres my story: After the first storm came through I received an email from a lady who happens to be one of my long time customers. She has been purchasing products from us since this little hobby became a business. I see her once or twice a year at a show and occasionally she will order some things throughout the year. So Im not in contact with her very often. Well, Tues morning she sent an email to say she woke up and had heard on the Weather Channel that there were tornadoes around Auburn and she remembered we lived somewhere around Auburn. She wanted to check to see if we were ok and if there was anything she could do for us. Well, It surprised me. It blessed me. It humbled me. I replied to her first email and thanked her for her kindness. Later, I was thinking about it and talking to the Lord about her kindness and that it didnt seem right to even call her a customer...but what would I call her? Then a second email came in from her. I wanted to share it with you here: So glad for the good report! I will pray and believe your angels guard and protect you, your family, your house & property. your business and all that is important to you! In Jesus Name---All Is Well! I didnt know where Salem was when I kept seeing the damage on The Weather Channel, then they mentioned 20 miles from Auburn University. I woke up just as TWC weather guy said the tornado is at Aub U. take shelter immediately and a few minutes later it was canceled and I fell back asleep. When I found out where Salem was, I immediately thought of you and had to check on you. Friends arent always people you see or talk to often! Sunday, I heard Jentzen Franklin, say most of the time we look at the things we have lost but I am here to tell you that God is the Lord of what I have left. That really touched me!. I really dont know why I am telling you that but perhaps you will be able to repeat it to someone how needs to hear it. -Elizabeth Thank you my dear friend, Ms. Elizabeth! Yes, I will repeat it to someone that needs to hear it.... ME! Blessings to you during the sunshine and during the storm
