This Man has broken more barriers in the way African American are perceived not only in the world of entertainment but who we are as people. William H. Cosby has always been an inspiration and a true pioneer in entertainment. When he auditioned for the role of Alexander Scott on the I Spy series (1965-1968) his co-star Robert Culp instantly loved him and threatened to walk off the series if he wasnt cast in the role. Bill and Robert stayed best friends until Robert Culps death. Then Fat Albert cartoon series was something I watched every Saturday morning and Bill always had a special message at the end of the program. Then he did it again with The The Cosby Show, which he fought the network executives to get on the air because of the poor images that African American sitcoms left before it. Then later came the spin off A A Different World which launched the career of Marisa Tomei. As I said Bill continues to blaze trails and remains an inspiration and further proves that no matter what your situation is, or where you are in life, or who you are, if you work hard and bust your ass... achieving is as easy as breathing!
