This May we are celebrating the legacy Grace Kelly: screen goddess, princess and enduring source of scandal. Kellys life was one of glamour, privilege and ultimately tragedy. She was important to the development of the legend of Hitchcock and, in those half a dozen films she made in five years or so in the early 1950s, she became a key figure in film; in film criticism; in the birth of the idea of celebrity; and even in politics. Here at Monterey Cinemas we are holding two special screenings of classic Grace Kelly films as well as the upcoming biopic. Sunday 25 May 2.00pm - Monterey Classics screening of the 1954 masterpiece Rear Window, directed by Alfred Hitchcock and starring Grace Kelly Wednesday 28 May 7.30pm - Girls Night Out screening of Grace of Monaco, starring Nicole Kidman. Tickets are $18 including a glass of Tohu Wine and a block of Cadbury Chocolate. Wednesday 28 May 10.30am - High Tea screening of the 1956 hit High Society, starring Grace Kelly. Tickets are $12 including tea and scones. Book your tickets now to our special events now!
