This Measure K for Orange Unified schools will be on the ballot in November, and we NEED your vote! Now, I know, I know...NO ONE wants to have any additional taxes, or see taxes raised. But PLEASE...I am telling you...our schools NEED this money!! Cheyanne goes to El Modena, and it has turned into a DUMP! Drinking fountains dont work; science labs are outdated; the lockers have been there for decades!; the grass is dirt and weeds in most places; buildings need to be painted; technology needs to be brought up into the 21st Century; repairs are needed everywhere - roofs, electrical, plumbing; earthquake retrofitting is necessary; the list goes on and on. And through it all, the teachers are still GREAT, the principal is a helluva guy, the schools are award-winning, and graduation rate is above the state average. VOTE YES ON MEASURE K.
