This Month in Tv Horror...Twin Peaks Well last month we had great fun looking at Dark Shadows. This month we have up David Lynchs infamous serial drama Twin Peaks. Sure many are familiar with the series which ran two seasons and began as a bizarre murder mystery only to get even more bizarre as supernatural and even cosmic horror elements played into it. The bulk of the series concerned FBI agent Agent Cooper being assigned a murder case of high school student Laura Palmer in the seemingly serene town known as Twin Peaks. Soon the seedy underbelly of the sleepy town is exposed with a good dollop of strangeness thrown in. In typical David Lynch fashion the series had a unique style and went on to have a huge cult following. Certainly one of the most offbeat series to ever hit mainstream tv. Was followed by the feature film Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me. Recently it was announced that a continuation of the series will return. So who here is a fan? Seen it it at least once? Thoughts??
