This Picture Says It All~ it is important to realize that is under attack in areas mention by you (Robert Reich see below) around the world, from wars and destruction that it has been created, it is disheartening and saddens me to watch the children suffer, to watch how the children are suffering at our own border....being ridiculed from the land of the free, have we as Americans lost the humanity and caring of and for the children being effected by the terrible wars and blood shed being brought to their door step of the innocent children?, which has caused them to flew for their lives, its a crime against all goodness and peace. These children deserve to have happiness, Ill end with a quote that sums it up. Happiness is not something ready made. It comes from your own actions. -Dalai Lama by Robert Reich ~ It is impossible to read the news these days without feeling heartache, especially for the toll taken on children – 100 killed in Gaza over the last two weeks; 219 school girls kidnapped for three months in Nigeria; 57,000 children camped at our southern border – many of them refugees from our drug war in Central America; mayhem in Syria, Iraq, and Afghanistan; rape and pillage in South Sudan. America is not directly responsible, but we are implicated in much of this. Yet we appear incapable of reducing the escalating violence. We have the military muscle to topple unfriendly regimes and take out targeted terrorists, but we seem powerless to create peace or build stable and humane societies in the face of violent gangs and tribal extremists. Some Americans would rather we avert our eyes, seal our borders, and withdraw from the world. But we must not. The question is: What can and should we do?
