This Poor dog was hit by her owners car, left eye popped out and lower jaw was dislocated and most probably fractured. She was left to be disposed thinking she will not survive. But a 17yr old boy with a kind heart took her home and not agreed to just leave it to die. Surprisingly, the dog recovered and is now fighting very hard to survive. She is currently pregnant but we are unsure when is the due date for her pups. Update on Rescued Pregnant Dog as of 7pm 12/29/14 Name of Dog : Frutini (Whitey) She is now currently confined at Animal Care and Wellness Center in Mabalacat , Pampanga under Dra Garilao. Blood Test : Platelet is Low, Infection is High Xray : Fracture is on the midfront part of the lower jaw, Lower Jaw is dislocated, No sign of fracture as per Lateral Xray (Side View) Physical Exam : Swelling on some parts of the jaw, No hematoma, No heavy bleeding, Back is ok, Legs are ok (she can still stand, and walk a bit), Left eye is popped out and cannot be saved anymore. Body Temperature is normal. Receptive to Pain. Ultrasound : Puppies are alive, Heartbeat detected were 3 puppies, still not definite as to when the pups are due. She has no vaginal discharge yet and she doesnt have milk yet. Medication : Amoxicillin , Anti Inflammatory Risks : Medication ma have effects on the unbron puppies As per Dra Garilao, No surgery will be done tonight, Tests Results will be reviewed by Head Veterinarian Dr Ely. They might be performing the surgery tomorrow but again there is high risk for the unborn puppies. We will still have to wait for updates from the attending vets. She is a strong mommy dog. You can see her willingness to survive. Let us not leave her now.. Big or small amount could save the dogs life..
