The fact that Uhuru is launching the Official 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Violence.. is a testimony of his commitment to end violence. African leaders must continue to highlight gender based violence in the region and also in international fora as a fundamental human rights violation and as a priority issue to promote sustainable development and reduce poverty!
