This Queens guard at Buckingham Palace, on display as they always are, decides to entertain the gawking public with a bit of slow motion striding, a tiny bit of Charlie Chaplin, a pirouette, breaking up the monotony of his job with a few other very minor antics. The video went viral. It finally came to the notice of the Grenadier Guardsmans superiors, and they have no sense of humor at all. The guys facing 21 days in a military prison in Colchester, docked pay, and some forced marching practice. Regulations state you may not eat, sleep, smoke, stand easy, sit or lie down during your tour of duty but it does not say you cannot pirouette or do a subtly funny stride.
