This Republic Day celebration was the first one for the newly appointed PM Narendra Modi . This was also for the first time that a US President visited India as a chief guest. President Obama made enough headlines here in India, and other countries as well. Mark Zuckerberg was the first person to like the picture of Modi and Obama hug at New Delhi International Airport on his arrival. The great news is that Obama will unblock millions of dollars in nuclear trade with India and also wishes to strengthen defense relationship with India. The main attraction of the celebration was presenting our brave martyrs with posthumous Ashok Chakras, which is the nations highest military award in peacetime, to the widows of Major Mukund Vardarajan and Naik Neeraj Kumar Singh who lost their lives fighting the terrotists in Jammu & Kashmir. While India displayed its woman power in the contingent marches, the rich and diverse culture in the tableaus of various states, the magnificent lion of Make In India campaign , the dream project of bullet train and the Beti bachao, beti padhao campaign, Pakistan seemed to be extremely jealous and angry with President Obamas visit to India. As we celebrated Republic Day, twitter trended with #RapePublicDay in Pakistan. Seems half of the Pakistan is feeling threatened now as their militant activities will come to a standstill. They seem worried as their dream of snatching J&K from India has been clearly challenged. Pakistan was clearly panicking and once again showed its ugly hypocritical face to the world. Pakistanis seem to have forgotten that their country itself kills at least a 1000 girls each year in the name of saving culture and religion The men of Pakistan do not even consider raping street kids as an offense. Pakistan needs to know, no matter how ugly and hateful they may get towards India, India will keep crushing Pakistan as it has always done.
