This Rumor from SonyAlphaRumors and the new #Sony XQD SD Card that does 4k 400mb/s on a 128gb card makes sense to me. * Think about a FAST SLT A-Mount that can Shoot sports at 36mp (a7r sensor). and do 12fps in APS-C crop. with two Card Slots and Dual Processors. and a Integrated GRIP with a Large High Capacity Battery. 300,000 life Shutter. Bullet Proof Weather Seal. * also Think about a A-Mount (probably another body with the #a7s sensor) that can shoot Low Light Video and RECORD 4K Internally. That just might warrant also two card slots. This also might find a Large High Capacity Battery useful. BUT, this one is PDAF/CDAF On Senor MIRRORLESS , with a Mount that is OPEN. and can shoot both A-Mount and E-Mount (and virtually ANY Lens in Manual Focus) via Adapters. I am also thinking a Body that is closer to a a7 series design with the Metal Exposure Compensation wheel at the TOP. But, the body would have a INTEGRATED GRIP and a High Capacity Battery. And a SOLID Stainless Steel Mount. SO, the Consistency / Familiarity (body style and layout) ... and Separation of Direction can be More Clear. Between E-Mount and A-Mount. * E-Mount = Size Priority ... From Pricepoint to Enthusiast * A-Mount = PRO , SPEED Priority ... NO Compromise , two SD slots , Larger Batteries, Larger / Faster EVF Think of it as the OTUS line of SONY. :) Something the OTUS would be mounted on.
