This Saturday (6/8) The Great Lakes Helicopter Main Event makes its first stop of the 2013 season. Bud Perry, a former Bowl late model champion is out to defend his 2011 and 2012 Main Event Series Championship. Josh Smith a Main Event series winner and former modified champion will be on hand along with other local drivers John Stroble, Scott Drake and Donnie Hill. ARCA driver Drew Charlson is also entered. Charlson set a new track record and finished third at KilKare Speedway two weeks ago. John Long who won that event is expected to be on hand also. The street stocks, tuners and compacts will also be in action.
