This Saturday and Sunday we are hosting the first annual Mt. Shasta Music Festivals Community Village which will include our favorite local vendors, a kids zone, and food from Ricos Tacos! Our daytime schedule is as follows: SATURDAY Free during the day! 10 am: Free YOGA! Aligning with Freedom- “slow flow & posture explorations for stability and joy.” All levels, with Jade Colleen Webb of the Shasta Yoga Center, musical accompaniment, Sacred Healing Sounds with Andrew Miguel Mesa Please bring a blanket and your yoga mat. 11 am: Songs for Peace with Carolyn Nayana and Miguel 12 noon: Organic and Biodynamic Gardening in our Community with Micah Dobrush 1 pm: The Green Heart Presents Hillbilly Bluegrass! 2 - 4 pm: Mt. Shasta Gateway Community and WATER group panel and Community Forum on Crystal Geyser Factory. Get informed, get involved, come and join us to find out the impacts to our community. 4:30 pm: Eric Siems and Friends Music 6 pm: Forgettable Ross, singer/songwriter guitarist ***The following shows require a $5 entry. There will also be a beer vendor.*** 7 pm: Doublechief 8 pm Indubious SUNDAY Free all day! 10 am: Free YOGA!!! Celebrate Inter-Dependence Day: Body, Mind and Breath with Amy Rachel Cooper, owner and teacher of Shasta Yoga Center. Please bring a blanket and your yoga mat. 12 noon: KIDS HULU HOOP Workshop w/ Tulasi Lagares 1 pm: HFI: Hindsight, Foresight, Insight. Rock and Roll band. 2:30 pm: DRUM CIRCLE!!! 4 pm: Community DJ Dance Party! Come and dance the end of the weekend away! Kid friendly, sober event! 7 pm: End of Community Village There will also be information, free water fill up, and misters. Its a great place for everyone in the family.
