This Saturday, my wife Rachel and I, along with some of our dearest friends, are heading up a 30 person relief work excursion to the highlands of Guatemala for a week of outreach, music and memories. this marks the M.I.L.E.s largest group to date! over the course of the next several days, well be chipping in on an addition to an area elementary school, lending a hand at a regional hospital and performing songs and holiday tunes pretty much everywhere we go. some of us will even get to take advantage of the coffee harvesting season, spending a day helping a local family-owned fair trade coffee co-op pick coffee seeds, helping contribute to their annual yield. of course theres going to be plenty of time for shenanigans and hopefully Im able to document some of that for you guys as well. stay tuned for updates.
