This Saturday opening for Brynn Marie will be Vandalia. If you havent seen them yet, they are simply amazing! They will get the night started around 8pm. Here is their complete bio: Band: Vandalia Members: Charles Godwin: Guitar/Vocals Nathan Colombo: Banjo/Guitar/Vocals Sam Angotti: Bass Band Bio: As our name suggests, our music is an authentic reflection of the place that we come from, West Virginia. Growing up listening to country, americana, and bluegrass music has brought us to where we are now as a band. Since our inception we have played venues ranging from our hometown bars, to the King Biscuit Blues Festival in Helena, Arkansas. Other notable venues include The Purple Fiddle in Thomas, West Virginia, a venue that has been host to such acts as The Avett Brothers, The Hackensaw Boys, and the Infamous Stringdusters, all household names in the Americana scene, Schmitts Saloon in Morgantown, West Virginia, a bar that has quickly become the standard for country shows in the state, and on July 19th we will be performing live at the historic Capital Theater in Wheeling, West Virginia as part of the Wheeling Jamboree Radio Broadcast, a venue that has hosted the likes of Brad Paisley, Doc Watson, Reno and Smiley and countless other country and americana legends. We have also just finished recording our debut album Come Back With Your Banjo, Or On It. In time the record will be mixed and mastered in Nashville and ready for release upon its completion.
