This September during CHILDHOOD CANCER AWARENESS MONTH, CLIC Sargent is asking people across the UK to wear a GOLD ribbon to show their support and help raise awareness of the impact of childhood cancer. Buy your gold ribbon from mid August from CLIC Sargents online shop, your local CLIC Sargent charity shop or branches of the supermarket Lidl, J D Wetherspoon pubs or fashion retailer Wallis, throughout September.¹ Go gold and show your support There are lots of other ways that you can help support Childhood Cancer Awareness Month too, by taking part in fundraising events linked to the appeals Go gold theme. Here are some great ideas for how you can show your support: Text ‘GOLD’ to 70030 to donate £3 to CLIC Sargent. You will be charged £3, plus one message at your standard network rate* Go gold’ for children with cancer and their families and organise a fundraising event such as a gold-themed dress down day at work or tea party Volunteer to be a Chief Bucketeer at Sign up ›one of their Big Bucket Collections at venues across the UK in September, or donate your gold coins when you see a collection near you! Become a ‘life-shaver’ with CLIC Sargents The Big Buzz and shave your head to show you stand by children with cancer this September If you live locally to one of the charity shops, take part in our ‘Give Gold’ stock appeal Email your MP and ask them to show support for children with cancer during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
