This Sunday, August 31st, will be the 12th Sunday after Pentecost and, at our 10am service, a Sunday for baptisms as we welcome into the household of faith, Joseph Patrick Thompson, Jr., son of our Associate Marisa and her husband, Joe and Fletcher James Slott, son of Heather and Bo Slott and grandson of Nancy and Steve Slott! 8:00am - Holy Eucharist Rite II 9:00am - Coffee in the Parlor 9:45am - Nursery available downstairs on the ground floor 10:00am - Holy Eucharist and Baptism (with a childrens sermon in the church following the reading of the Gospel) 11:00am - Lemonade and Refreshments on the Front Lawn I commend to you the following 5 minute video put out last year by the Archbishop of Canterbury, ahead of Prince Georges baptism, about the meaning of this sacrament.
