This Sunday, August 3rd: Our Religious Imagination -- It is Not Just for Dreaming Anymore - Rev. Brian Ferguson: One of the great struggles of our human condition is our frequent inability to view the world from another person’s perspective. This seems to be a problem religiously, politically, and culturally – creating great divisions amongst people. Our Unitarian Universalist religious tradition places great emphasis on the use of reason to interpret our experience to derive meaning and even ethical guidelines. What about the use of our imagination to gain a wider perspective beyond just our own experience and reason? This worship service will explore what would it mean to engage our imagination as part of our religious life. Rev. Brian Ferguson is currently entering his fifth year as Minister to the San Marcos Unitarian Universalist Fellowship in Central Texas. Join us at 11:30 am for our weekly Sunday service.
