This Sunday I leave for college in Moore, Oklahoma. Not only to - TopicsExpress

This Sunday I leave for college in Moore, Oklahoma. Not only to pursue an education but to play soccer as well. As Im on the brink of taking the next big step of my life and prepare myself for this drastic change, I took a step back to reflect on my 18 and half years. On the choices Ive made, on the cards I was dealt, on the people Ive met, as well as the people Ive surrounded myself with, and everything that has gotten me to this very point. As I sat up last night thinking about all of this I made the decision that even tho this next step will be difficult at first, as well as a little scary, I remembered all the people that supported me, helped me, as well as guided me to the point to where Im fully capable of not only taking on this task but also succeeding in getting my degree and enjoying life! Im a guy that used to care about what other people thought about me like most teens do nowadays, but with some good raising, a great support group, and an incredible life choice, I came to know myself and realized who I wanted to be and now I proudly say Im completely comfortable with who I am. With all that being said I want to thank the people that mean something to me and who I feel truly contributed to how I live my life, not only the people that play a big role in my life today but also the people that helped me in my younger years that I know my parents greatly appreciate, first I would like to thank my parents who have raised me to the best of their abilities through the good times and the bad, to my brothers and sisters whether full, half, step, or by a bond we share for teaching me how to be a positive influence, to my grandparents, great grandparents, and step grandparents, and to the countless aunts, uncles, cousins, step relatives, and nanas who have all supported and help raise me who I know I cant all tag, also their is a big difference between a friend and acquaintance to me so I want to thank all the true friends Ive made over the years as well as the good people Ive met lately that Ive been becoming real friends with, I want to thank my CHS soccer teammates who Ill always will share an awesome bond with, to my awesome soccer coach and second father Jeff Pippin who taught me so many life lessons that I will always carry with me, to my KBW crew who stuck it out with me and helped me make something out of nothing, to my BYW crew around the U.S. , to my VBS family that always make it known they care, to my amazing girlfriend who has been great to me, and to her family who have treated me like their own, to the pastors, youth ministers, And Sunday school teachers who taught me the word, and to my youth group, and to the wrestling family that I recently joined that have taught me and accepted me these past couple of months! To all of you (sorry I couldnt tag all of you) I want to say from the bottom of my heart thank you and that I greatly appreciate the help, support, and guidance that you all gave me to make me the young man that I proudly say I am today! I love you all and thank you all so much!!!!!!!
