This Sunday, I will embark on an interesting journey of personal growth and re-discovery. I will be spending at least three months in my beloved Mexico City. A series of circumstances that are too irrelevant to be discussed have led me to make this trip. Frankly, I just want to avoid any sort of emotional venting through this media, you know, the kind of shit I always so annoyingly criticize (like many other things, I know.) It will be an experiment of sorts but mostly an opportunity for self-rendezvous as there is a couple things regarding my past that only my birthplace can shine a light upon. As of now, my cell phone has been deactivated and I will have a rather limited access to a computer, but this social-media-platform-thingy can be a very useful tool to communicate and catch up on the irrelevant events in our lives and all that jazz. Hopefully, after this trip ends and I come back to my beloved Valley, you will see me with different eyes. This is an opportunity to get my feet on the ground and get a grasp of the very crude but indifferent reality that we fervently avoid in our routine as minuscule, conscious specks of existence floating in this crude and indifferent universe. I am as excited for this experience as I am for my return, and I sure hope to see your faces sooner rather than later. Love.
