This Sunday, November 23rd: Giving Thanks and the 7th Principle: Respect for the Interdependent Web of All Existence of Which We are a Part - Tom Moran Our Thanksgiving Service and annual Bread Communion is a meditation on what it means to be thankful. We all are dependent on so many things for our successes as well as our failures. Giving thanks is a way for us to acknowledge our debt to those who support us – our family, our friends, our spiritual and civic communities. How do we humbly acknowledge gratitude for advantages that are gifts from others and be thankful for where we are, what we have, and at the same time reserve the right to work for change on behalf of those who do not have the same advantages? Tom Moran is a 13-year member of Wildflower Church and has recently retired from a long career in library administration. Join us at 11:30 am for our weekly Sunday service. We meet in the sanctuary at Faith Presbyterian Church at 1314 E Oltorf St.
