This Sunday October 5th, will be the CMRAs 34th Annual Toy Run...thats right folks, 34 years of helping Connecticut homes that have children needing toys for the holidays. There is no fee for this ride. Meet up at Hubbard Park in Meriden before Noon on Sunday, bring a toy or some toys to donate to the kids. There will be a police escorted permitted ride to the VFW in Prospect, CT. Ok, even if ya dont ride and want to help out some needy homes and kids, just swing into Hubbard Park or into the VFW in Prospect and drop off some holiday gifts. The childrens homes that will be at the VFW to accept their holiday gifts are Wheeler Clinic, Hispanos Unidos/Latin Health Services in Meriden, and Klinberg Family Centers. At the VFW in Prospect, there will be food available to purchase. Coffee is free at both park and the VFW.
