This Sunday and next, we will be collecting gifts of desk and chair sets for students in Sierra Leone, West Africa! The Pujejun School Desk Project has a goal of raising $7,560 for 270 desks at $28 each. Currently, $5,000 has been raised! Our church has the privilege of being a part of a ministry where precious children will be educated, children who will make a difference in the lives of others, by leading them to Christ. We have a Christmas tree set up by the stairs, and an antique school desk! We encourage you to come by, and purchase a desk and chair set, if you feel led. You may purchase as many sets as you wish, or you may contribute toward one set, by placing any amount of money into an envelope. What a great way for our children to be involved in giving! Please color the same number of desk and chair ornaments for actual sets purchased, and clip them onto our Christmas tree. This will be a visual representation of how Emmaus is loving others in Africa. We are excited to give a report on the money weve raised for this project! Thank you!
