This Sunday in Lil’ Sprouts our 1 year olds through 5K children will hear about Philip and the Ethiopian. Acts 8:26-40. Philip had a direct word through an angel to go to a certain place. When he arrived there, the Spirit told him to go to a certain chariot. We don’t usually get such specific directions from God. But He has given us the direction through His Word to tell the good news about Jesus. At some point, someone told you - and it changed your life for eternity. God uses us to share His good news with others. He uses us to help others learn more about Him and about how to live. What a great privilege it is for us to share about Jesus with your children! In this week’s Bible story in The Backyard our 1st - 5th graders will hear how Jesus is teaching his followers about the best way to live their lives (Matthew 7:1-5). One of the principles He teaches is about judging. Jesus uses the example of someone who should clear the plank of wood out of his own eye before trying to clear sawdust out of his friend’s eye. Our Bottom Line is: Be careful not to judge others, because youve been wrong too. We look forward to seeing you SONday!
