This Sundays Long Beach radio show (Broadcasting on the Beach with Halftime Howie Sunday nights from 7 to 8pm on WWW.AM1240WGBB.COM) from the Long Beach Historical Society at 226 West Penn Street will truly be what my original vision was for the show in that we will be promoting the people of Long Beach and promoting upcoming Long Beach events in a very positive way. On Sundays show we will be featuring several Long Beach Lifeguards who just finished in 7th place in a National competition in California,our film critic Rocco Passafuime will be interviewing Ingrid Dodd about the upcoming LOng Beach International Film Festival at the Allegria Hotel,we will be interviewing Harold Michelman the owner of Surf Glass on his honor of being named the Merchant of the Year by the Long Beach Chamber of Commerce and not only will be previewing the upcoming Arts and Crafts Festival but we are inviting Long Beach residents to come on the show and ask our esteemed Historian, Roberta Fiore questions about Long Beach history.
