This Week in Local (Well, Regional) Magic: WERE GOING TO VANCOUVER! Yes, people, THIS IS IT! GRAND PRIX VANCOUVER! The biggest Magic tournament were gonna see in Western Canada this year! I know a number of you have been practicing hard for the Standard format, and I firmly believe that we can put a couple people into Day 2 again! Im not likely to be among them, as my attention has been kind of split between player stuff and judge stuff, so please dont let my last couple GP runs distort your expectations. The GP will be streamed on Twitch.tv and text-covered at DailyMTG so dont forget to keep up with everyone! If not drafted into judging, Ill try and keep you guys updated on local players progress as well. Of course, theres still plenty for you guys to do at home here! Hence the post and all that. WEDNESDAY: Standard at Collectors Lane! Last chance for local Standard before the Friday GP Trials in Vancouver! Register at 6 PM, play at 6:15 PM! THURSDAY: Casual Magic at Dragons Den! FRIDAY NIGHT MAGIC: Warleaders Helix still the promo! The competitions thinned out, you may as well take advantage! Collectors Lane has Theros Draft! Register at 6 PM, play at 6:15 PM! Amazing Stories has Modern! Register at 6:30 PM, play at 7 PM! Ramjak Sports has A Problem, because Im not there and Diamonds not there! Id really like there to be a Theros Draft if possible, but I dont think well be able to staff it. Saturday: Amazing Stories has its last Theros Draft before Born of the Gods (Prereleases next weekend, guys, start making your prerelease posts!), Sunday: Watch Vancouver or play in Vancouver! Your choice! (Note: Getting your L1 in Vancouver is also acceptable and encouraged.) Monday: Standard at Ramjak, barring flight delays, at 7 PM! Tuesday: Someone reminds me to write TWiLM again!
