This Weekend on The Christian Worldview Radio Program | November 16, 2013 Five Ways to Build Your Biblical Worldview “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path” (Psalm 119:105). If you’re looking for a simple and accurate explanation for why our society now views marriage as a state-recognized union of any two people regardless of gender, government-funded health care, food, and housing as “social justice,” killing a baby in a mother’s womb as “a women’s right to health care,” and spanking a rebellious child as “abuse,” look no further than the discarding of the Bible-based worldview in America. Human reasoning in all its rationalistic, euphemistic manifestations is on the rise while Scriptural understanding and application is on the wane. Most concerning is that those who should know better -- professing Christians -- accept and appropriate parts and pieces of this flawed human wisdom. The Bible says “do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect” (Romans 12:2). If we want a renewed mind, one that sees the world truthfully as God does, we must be taking in God’s mind on a regular basis. But how do we do that? By reading the Bible? By hearing the Word preached? Those are two ways, but there are more.
