This Weeks Testimonial!! Hello Jud and Jake, I’d like to take a few moments to to send this letter of appreciation. As I explained previously, I am a recently retired high school building construction teacher, and a Porsche, for many reasons had been a bucket list item. I’ve always wanted one but could never find one to meet my requirements and teacher’s budget. That is, automatic transmission (so that she who must be obeyed can drive it), A/C (for me), and most importantly, having replaced two air cooled engines in older Volkswagens, a fluid cooled engine. Making a long story short, I found a silver 2001 Carrera coupe with 38,000 miles that filled the bill. After about 6 months of ownership, I discovered the dormant IMS bearing problem was sleeping in my 911. Diligent research uncovered a group of “Young Turks” in north Georgia that had a fix for the German engineered “Larry, Moe and Curley” bearing. Raby Engine Development, Flat 6 Innovations and LN Engineering entered the picture. These folks have an understanding of the problems and the solutions that plague these wonderful little cars. Jud, he is the organizer. To say that he is a “multitasker is an insult compared to the number of jobs he handles at one time and all of them with ease and expertise. I was kept informed from pickup to delivery with all contingencies discussed ahead of time. No surprises. Jake, on the other hand is the surgeon on duty. That is, “…this caused this and will affect this if that is not corrected”, go Jake go, make ‘em run Buddy. Just turn him loose and he’ll get it fixed correctly and the first time. No drips, no runs and no errors. The little silver coupe is back home now and currently going through physical therapy, You know, break in oil for 500 miles, 3,000 rpm, medication changed to DT40, send a sample back to Georgia., keep the doctor and patient happy. No need to worry or be anxious, these folks will do the job from start to finish and it will be correct. These days it is tough to find many businesses you can say that about. Thanks again.
