This absolutely GORGEOUS TWHBEA regd, buttermilk buckskin Tennessee Walking Horse mare stands approximately 14.2 hands and is 16 this year. She has been mostly a riding horse all her life, but she has also had at least 2 foals. (2 are on the books with TWHBEA, a buckskin and a perlino) We purchased her in the Fall as a riding horse, but she shows some lameness issues, and for that reason, we are not selling her as sound, thus reflected in her price of $750.. Chamois (pronounced Shammy) is a very good natured, respectful mare. She is the herd boss here, out of the 3 in our pasture...her, another TWH and a Miniature Horse. She absolutely LOVES the mini and they eat together from the same hay net. Maybe she thinks that the mini is a foal, I dont know, but she does not boss her around like she bosses the other full sized mare. She may be suitable for light, occasional riding with a light rider or as a broodmare if you are wanting to raise some beautiful buckskin gaited foals from her, or even as a pasture ornament/companion. We are located in Northwestern Ontario, but can possibly deliver to Manitoba if need be, for cost of time and gas.
