This afternoon Connecticut Children’s held a mock drill to train - TopicsExpress

This afternoon Connecticut Children’s held a mock drill to train employees on how to handle an Ebola case should one come in. This was the second hospital wide Ebola-drill, but the 1st in which Personal Protective Equipment was used. Today nurses wore the “moon suits” in the simulated real-life case. If Connecticut Children’s were to get a case, isolation rooms have been designated and our “Team Ebola” would respond to ensure the safety of our patients & staff first and foremost. Thank you to everyone present at the Medical Center during the drill- we appreciate your understanding as we practice for worst-case scenarios.
