This afternoon I attended Christmas Openhouse event by Momentum - TopicsExpress

This afternoon I attended Christmas Openhouse event by Momentum agency that helps individuals who need retraining for jobs or becoming self-employed entrepreneurs. Its shown that $1 of public investment in Momentum programs returns $7 to public benefit. I met individuals who, through Momentum, now either obtained trade certification or established their own businesses in house renovation, soap making, sauce making, snack food making, jewelry making, food catering, tapestry weaving, etc.. Thanks to volunteers, donors, staff at Momentum for their great work. Congrats to participants. Very pleased with our public $ investments in this area, helping our citizens become contributing and more productive! I also enjoyed singing along Misha Pardo and his Latin Andean Music Band entertaining at the event. Feliz Navidad a todos ! Merry Christmas everyone!
