This afternoon, I attended the Investiture of Robert R. Russell, the newly elected Judge for Lincoln County. Nine District Judges were in attendance plus Ann Walsh Bradley, Wi. Supreme Court Judge. The ceremony was interesting, the brief commentaries were warm and welcoming. The roots of the Russell family go back to 1857 . At that point in history, we were just part of Portage County. Sister Ann Wittman gave the invocation, she is a cousin of Russell. Very nice afternoon.
