This afternoon I ended up in the Town of Woodside. It is where late Steve Jobs also owned a house and child star late Shirley Temple lived, and presently is where Larry Ellison of Oracle, Charles Schwab, actress Michelle Pfiffer and other notable people live. I visited a special house twice in one week as the owner, a business friend, is so proud to show me the amenities, decor and intricacies of his house after it is rebuilt. This house appeared in Architectural Digest in 1976 because of the quaintness of its French Country design and the eucalyptus trees as its backdrop. I must pause to describe some of the the amenities of its kitchen. The stainless appliances include 2 dish warmer, 1 La Cornue range and oven (electric and gas), 1 coffee maker (just pour in coffee beans and it will grid for you), 1 microven oven, 1 wine refrigerator, 1 oridinary refrigerator, 1 dishwasher, etc and the marble-slab countertops enhances the kitchen with ample working space. All the bathrooms have radiant heat on the floor and towel warmer which are good during the winter.
