This afternoon I was talking to Olivia about her school day. She informed that her seat got moved. Immediately my heart sank and I asked what she had done. She said nothing, the teacher checks our behavior calendars and if they are all green we get rewards. My friend, Hannah, got to pick today. She got to either choose something from the treasure chest or choose a friend to sit by her. She chose me How sweet is that? I said Liv, you know that means you were her treasure?! You know it was about this time that a man, long ago, chose you over all the treasure in the whole world. He was king over all the universe, He sat upon a throne in heaven and yet chose to become wrapped in flesh, carried and sustained by a human mother, dependent on mortals for his survival and upbringing, walked the dirt of this earth, communed with us, ministered to us, healed us, taught us...SAVED us. He gave up his kingdom and all the wealth of heaven to live in your heart. He chose death because you are his treasure. You are more important than anything else. He chose nails and suffering just to be with you for all eternity. Jesus is the best friend that you could ever have!!! He is mine
