This afternoon I went to USC Doheny Library special collections with some of our team at Cal State LA working on an exhibit at CSULA next fall on Ruben Salazar.Barbara Robinson in pink blouse showed us all kinds of fabulous photos, articles, artifacts that we can use in our exhibit at no cost!. UCLAs Young Research Library and also the UCLA Chicano Studies Research Center Library are also sharing materials for our exhibit. Since I took the picture I add here a selfie of me afterwards going to do some cardio exercise. In the photo are Azalea Camacho CSULA special collections archivist, Barbara Robinson of USC, Leticia Ocana, Maria and excuse me but I forgot the brothers name on our exhibit team. Barbara is showing us the 1954 yearbook of Texas Western College now University of Texas El Paso with pictures of Ruben Salazar as managing editor of the school newspaper the Prospector.
