This afternoon, Ol Johnson is reflecting on the U.S. Immigration act of 1921 and 1924. Grandpa and other relatives, immigrated in 1920... Grandma was already pregnant with my Mom, but still in Italy. You see, the US Government discriminated against women in its quota assessment. The objective of the 1921 act was to temporarily limit the numbers of immigrants to the United States by imposing quotas based on country of birth. Annual allowable quotas for each country of origin were calculated at 3 percent of the total number of foreign-born persons from that country recorded in the 1910 United States Census. And that wasnt too many. So, Grandma had to wait in Italy until the quota system caught up with the family. Grandma came to America in steerage class ( bottom of the boat ) heavily pregnant with Mom. The ship was held up in Iceland because quarantines of ships already in the New York Port of Immigration. Yes folks, there was a 21 day quarantine on all ships carrying immigrants. Lets fast forward to Today!!! What a joke on we Americans!!! Terrorists come and go at will, people carrying Ebola virus come in at will, illegal aliens come and stay, and we pay for all of it!!!! No matter who wins and loses in this mid-term... we are truly screwed! That bastard will pick up his phone and his pen and give all of them a path to citizenship that dishonors the ancestry of those who obeyed the law, and suffered at its hand! Unless congress votes to rescind the 1924 Johnson-Reed Act...that states The 1924 Immigration Act also included a provision excluding from entry any alien who by virtue of race or nationality was ineligible for citizenship President Soetoros pen will be the final nail in his coffin!!!
