This afternoon an Ex volunteer dumped her adopted Cefni dog on one of my volunteers doorstep - No reason, No excuses made - no explanation nothing... Im disgusted why someone who knows the backgrounds of a rescue having volunteered with us for 9months would know only too well how much strain this would put on a rescue. This will be dealt with accordingly now as the dogs welfare in our eyes is priority and we took him straight to our kennels into safety and away from people who would do such a thing again to him. This is Ace - he was found as a stray around March/April last year where his 7days were up we stepped in and brought him into our care where he was then duly adopted. Ace is around 1years old now Approx. he has flat paws which is easily worked on with good bone/joint supplements and being walked constantly on concrete so his tendons etc start to fuse properly as well pull the paw back into the shape it should be in. Ace has lived with another dog - we would suggest a cat free home and children which are 9-12yrs old. His information will be uploaded onto our website this evening. Ace is currently being boarded in our secure kennels in the Nottinghamshire area.
