As Of early this afternoon...AN Outflow boundary from earlier convection Had pushed southward to near the interstate 70 corridor. This feature Will be the primary focus for additional thunderstorm activity later Today. A strongly unstable air mass south of the boundary will promote An environment favorable for robust convection...SOME Of which may be Severe. Large hail up to ping-pong ball size...LOCALIZED Damaging Wind gusts and very heavy rainfall will be possible in the strongest Activity. Additional thunderstorms may develop in parts of northwest Missouri tonight. Monday Through Saturday Thunderstorms may be ongoing across northern Missouri early Monday...BUT Are expected to gradually weaken or lift north of the Iowa border by Monday night. The potential for severe weather is Unclear at this time. Hot and humid conditions will return Tuesday into Thursday. Temperatures are likely to climb into the middle 90s Wednesday and Thursday...WITH Heat index readings likely reaching 100 degrees each Afternoon.
