This afternoon in Parliament Dignity for Disability MLC Kelly Vincent will be introducing a motion calling on the Government to implement a Disability in All Policy approach (DiAP). For too long policy affecting people with disabilities has been made with little coordination or cooperation between different Ministers and Departments. By adopting a DiAP approach South Australia could finally address the endemic siloing people with disabilities encounter, and see greater consideration of disability issues in all areas of policy.
