This afternoon, my father, Donald Hovey Hill Jr., died at age 87. He went peacefully at home after a few months of steadily declining health. He died gently, peacefully and leaves a loving family and many friends who will miss him dearly. He was a good man, a good husband a good father, grandfather and a good friend to a diverse, eclectic group of people. Some of you knew him, some of you have read his poetry here on Facebook. I will miss him for the rest of my life. I loved him, although I was often remiss in proving it by my actions. However, we made our peace a while ago and I would like to think he stopped having those conversations with me while I was not around a few years ago.
