This afternoon, when I tried to flush my feeding tube, it was clogged. The last time it clogged up, I had to go to the emergency room to try to get it unclogged. That didnt work, so they had to put me under and do a procedure to replace the whole tube! After an hour of flushing both the jejunal and the gastric tubes, it finally cleared up! You can imagine my relief that all is clear again! Persistence and patience really paid off. Now I have a lot of water in my system from over 30 flushes on each line... To calm my nerves, I took the cartons of food, filled a bag to hang on the pole, and started feeding...after half an hour of everything working properly, I will be satisfied. Then I will do a little gym time, and a lovely visit with Timony.
