This afternoon’s post includes Simon, from Peterborough, who recently attended a 1940s Weekend with his support worker, Alison. Over the course of the weekend, Simon had the opportunity to interactively learn about the eras many developments such as, fashion trends, types of vehicle available and industrialisation. Simon could fully immerse himself in an environment which precisely re-enacted some of the events that occurred in the decade. Understandably World War 2 took centre stage, which coincidently is a huge interest of Simons and provided him with many photograph opportunities, as you can see he thoroughly enjoyed himself!
