This amuses? me. A bit of history. Chrysler had poor reputation and quality until the famous cab forward line of cars of the 90s. The Jeep Grand Cherokee sold all they could build. They redid the build strategy. The brand was very strong in the mid to late 90s. Daimler bought merged with them. The reputation and build quality suffered. They were sold, at great loss, to a private equity firm. The reputation and build quality remained bad. The Great Recession took them down and they were bailed out by the governments and unions.
