This angel was found laying next to a dumpster in the local area. She is extremely emaciated and urgently needs donations to save her life. Thank you! kyanimalrelief.org/ From the KARF facebook page: KARF was asked to help with a senior Dachshund who was found this weekend and taken to our local shelter. She was near death, lying next to a dumpster. Upon arrival, she was so unstable they had to take her to an emergency hospital. She was unresponsive and her body temperature was 85 degrees (normal is 100-102). She is severely emaciated and weighs just 6 pounds. She vomited a large amount of garbage and had bloody diarrhea. It took all night to stabilize her. I went to the hospital today to assess her. I held her tiny body and my heart broke, trying to imagine all she has been through. She has been transferred to my vet at Shively Animal Clinic and will receive a plasma transfusion tonight, along with various other medications. She is in critical condition but we are giving her the best chance we can. I have named her Sunshine. Please keep her in your thoughts. We are asking for your help.
