This arrogant, ignorant, divisive and ignoble hate speech by a man widely respected and celebrated by a section of Nigeria as a liberator, just as his contemporaries from other regions are, is one of the reasons the destructive seed of hate which we in this generation of Nigeria must exterminate, was allowed to germinate, grow wild and mushroom into a deadly monster that has continued to threaten our national cohesion and national security. Seeing my compatriots recycle this dead crude ignorance as a tool of blackmail against General Muhamadu Buhari who has nothing to do with it except that its author was the premier of Northern Nigeria where he was born, is callous, insensitive, despicable, objectionable, and therefore, condemnable. Why hold an innocent man and a pure nationalist by all standards as a leader, hostage of the atrocious pronouncements of a man who promoted, advertised and marketed regional manipulation based on his ethnic supremacist ideology of which leaders of all the regions except a few at the time, were culpable in various degrees? While I hate every word used by Ahamadu Bello in this Video clip with every cell in my body, I condemn the attitude of all those who are using as a campaign rhetoric against Buhari who has nothing to do with it and its content. Those who are involved in the unfortunate use of this video clip outside the issues and our current realities are haters of Nigeria, are pollinating the flowers of hate which will Nigeria no good. Lets vote for Muhamadu Buhari based on his abilities and content of character instead of voting for Jonathan Goodluck on accounts of his ability to spin hate messages in order to cover his failure to lead Nigeria because, leading Nigeria is not the same thing as leading a state or region, and therefore requires men with higher consciousness..... Hate never brings about national cohesion.
