This article Never To Be Forgotten written in the edition, Sunday, April 27, 2014, front page. Pat was killed in Viet Nam on March 14, 1968 at Ba Long Province, at the age of 19. He was a teen-age pal of mine. His grandmother and step-grandfather rented the two-room apartment from my parents in Pueblo, at East 5th Street and Queens. It was the second story of the home which my parents then owned, and where I was brought up part of my youth days. Pat would frequently visit his grandparents and we became friends and hung out together and often palled around. You can imagine that this story is particularly special to me. His brother Bill and other siblings and his mom and dad, lived just two blocks East, down the street on East 5th Street. I knew Bill also, who has been influential in getting this project accomplished. Bill Lucero is the presiding disciplinary Judge for the Colorado Supreme Court.
